Kitty Sookochoff started toting around her first camera at the age of nine; some years later, you can't find her without it. As a school psychologist with advanced degrees in psychology and education, Kitty started Lakeside Photography ten years ago as a part-time business. In 1999, Kitty made Lakeside a full-time commitment, is a member of the Professional Photographers Association and regularly attends workshops to stay current with a rapidly-advancing profession.
Aside from photography, Kitty is an active volunteer in the Northwoods community and has dedicated many years to 4H, Relay for Life and other community projects. In her downtime she enjoys paddling, cross-country skiing, and biking, as well as spending time with her family ... including her first grandson!
Lakeside Photography sits on ten acres of woods, gardens, and a private lake. There is also an indoor studio with numerous sets, backdrops and props. The staff at lakeside is always willing to go on-location for shoots as well, regardless of distance. Lakeside's clients include families, seniors, action photography, and local and national commercial accounts. Aside from Kitty, Lakeside also employs one full-time assistant and one part-time assistant, both with experience in photo editing, graphic design and customer relations.
